Seminar called “Handball – yesterday, today, tomorrow” was held in Belgrade on saturday, jointly organized by the Higher sports health school, the Handball Federation of Serbia and Belgrade, at the initiative of State secretary for sports, former national team member Predrag Perunicic.
The lecture on the topic of the basics of sports training in front of a large number of coaches was given by Dr. Nebojsa Ilic, professor at the sports sports school. Predrag Perunicic, former member of the national team, now state secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, spoke about the characteristics of the training process.
Dr. Marijana Mladenović, former member of the professional staff of the Serbian women’s national team, drew attention to the importance of psychological preparation in handball, while Dr. Milan Babić, surgeon, doctor of the Serbian national team, and Jovan Rogić lectured on prevention and modern technologies in the treatment of handball injuries, senior physiotherapist.
The handball seminar was attended by a large number of coaches, including former students of the College of Sports and Health and former national team members: Veselin Vukovic and Ivan Lapcevic, and attended by: Vuk Roganovic, Jova Pavlov, Akim Komnenic, Zoran Valdevit, Nedeljko Matic, Dragan Vrgović and many others. Zikica Milosavljevic was also a successful student and the face of the School.
