The organizer of this spectacle is the agency of Aleksandar Petkovic, a former German boxer who is originally from Teslic.
- Delic and I are longtime friends and we came up with the idea of organizing a real spectacle for his farewell. Of course, this had to happen in Banja Luka, the city of boxing, he first entered the ring here, and here he will also say goodbye to active boxing – said Petkovic.
Delic has had 36 matches in his career and has suffered only three defeats.
- I was dating in Slavia, a club that represents a boxing institution in new premises. I fought with world and European champions, unfortunately my generation was prevented by the war from going abroad earlier and making bigger results. It all comes to an end, and so does the career of an athlete. Emotions are present, but it’s time to say goodbye, after so many years there is little saturation. I’m going to get ready in the best way, this is going to be a really tough fight, and my opponent should be Russian Denis Bahtov, who has fought big boxers like Anthony Joshua and others in his career – Delic
Banja Luka’s Danilo Tosic will fight.
- I am very glad to participate in the event organized by Aleksandar Petkovic, at the farewell of our champion Goran Delic. I had an injury after the last match, but I recovered and started preparing for the next challenge – says Tosic.
After a five-month break, Veljko Raznatovic will also be in the ring.
- I took a break because I was changing management and professional staff, and in the future I will work with Nenad Borovcanin and Aleksandar Petkovic. I am convinced that I will prepare well and be five times better than before, I do not think about defeat at all – Raznatovic is optimistic.
